Glassworks is on the move!

I don't think I've been this excited about the business since starting it up. What a dream load of possibilities are out there! We've been making a statement, by producing our own You Tube videos for some time now....and we're taking it to the next level.

A thought occurred to me while I was daydreaming about the car/trade shows we attend. What if we made our display "the greatest show on earth." In our industry people are accustomed to seeing parts spread out over the ground on tarps. It looks a bit tasteless, but it certainly has done the job for years. But the question came to mind, "What if we did I live build of what we do for our customers?" That being...what if we built a hardtop in front of an audience!

And so it was! We first tried it in Arizona in front of about 32 car owners. We then traveled to Texas, and then Michigan. The customers certainly seemed to love it, and we are busier now than we were a few months ago. So, I gotta think that it's working for us.

Now the next step! Along with the idea of our You Tube videos, and the success of our Hardtop Housecalls. We will now attempt to fuse the two, and do Live Hardtop Housecalls via the Internet. The idea still needs to be played with, but we'll either do this live from a customers location or simply do live demonstrations from our workshop; perhaps both.

I can't wait to see how this goes over!
